Fall 2020 Recruitment
Are you a Junior or Senior mechanical engineering student in the top 25% of your class with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.25, or a graduate mechanical engineering student in the top 35% of your class with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.50? Pi Tau Sigma is offering interested students a unique leadership opportunity to help renew our Chapter. Our history spans 1966—2002 and 2010 to the Present. We pioneered engineering tutoring services, hosted “Humans vs Zombies” and other interorganizational events, hosted professional engineering guest speakers and facility tours, and have a ton of fun! Our Chapter also pioneered alumni association opportunities within the national Pi Tau Sigma organization. We want you to be a part of this future! We are offering MAE Department support, an award winning organizational structure complete with internet domain, target audience email mailing lists, officer-specific email accounts, Google Drive officer notebooks and other resources, an existing and funded ASI agency account, and alumni support with a private FaceBook group having immediate access to over 150 alumni members, many of whom are licensed Professional Engineers and/or have completed masters or doctoral degrees. Everything you need to succeed is already set up for you; we just need YOU! Interested and eligible students are asked to email recruitment@csulbpts.org, or speak with Drs. Torabzadeh, Whisler, and/or Dhillon in the MAE Department (all three of whom will receive emails sent to the recruitment email address). |

General Meeting Summary 10/27/14
Overview - Polos - Events - Future Leadership and Mentorship Program - Teach for America Polos WOMEN - if you placed an order a while ago, you put a size down in respects to the men's polo. Please update your size accordingly since we have a women's polo. However, if you want to keep the same size in respects to the men's polo, no need to change anything. I barely ordered any extra because I didn't want to have a bunch of them sitting around. That being said, if you did not order one and would still like one, you will have to wait to reach a minimum of 24 confirmed buyers before an order can be placed. Payment is due for those who ordered one and will be collected next week, Nov. 3 to Nov 6. Please bring it by the PTS room to either the President, External VP, or Internal VP and make sure you obtain a receipt as well. The price is $25. Cash preferred. Make checks payable to Pi Tau Sigma.
