Peer Support & Mentoring

Lost in your classes? Not sure about a class you will be taking next semester? Concerns about finding research or internships? Have general questions about ME and/or life?

As fellow Mechanical Engineering Majors we have an idea of the questions and concerns that often arise. PTS offers all students, from freshman to seniors, in Mechanical Engineering our advice, knowledge and experience. We want to help out our community, so feel free to turn us with any questions or concerns.

As juniors and seniors, we have the experience dealing with issues engineers face in their undergraduate education. We're here to share our knowledge and experience onto you and also to help answer whatever questions, big or small, that you may have.

If you have any general questions, or like to just talk, stop by the Pi Tau Sigma room in VEC-219C across from the Undergraduate Study Center (VEC-201)

Facility Tours

Pi Tau Sigma California Sigma Eta uses facility tours as a club activity to inform undergraduates about the

facility's industry. This provides the facility to attract the top students in the College of Engineering and

promote their company to future engineers. On October 3, 2013, mechanical engineers toured the Robinson

Helicopters Factory.

Speaker Series

We encourage Pi Tau Sigma alumnus, company representatives, recruiters and industry leaders to join our Speaker Series. Our aim to provide CSULB engineers

information about the ever changing industry. We will provide a room, the audience and convenient schedule for the Speaker.

Engineer's Week: Human vs. Zombies

Pi Tau Sigma California Sigma Eta host the college-wide game of "Human vs. Zombies" for Engineer's

Week. Engineer's week celebrates the noble profession of engineering. College of Engineering

organizations set activities to promote engineering in CSULB.
